Ants Tattoo Meaning

Cooperation, industry, the collective, and strength in numbers.

In Greek mythology, the Myrmidons - fierce warriors who fought with Achilles at Troy - were created from ants. Zeus transformed ants into humans to repopulate an island struck by plague. Their name meant 'ant-people,' and they were known for their loyalty and discipline.

Ant colonies can contain millions of individuals working in perfect coordination without central command. They build cities, farm fungi, wage wars, and care for their young collectively. A single ant is nearly helpless; together, ants can move mountains.
